Shed Week 2009 interviews: Tim Mcneil The Mystery Of Shed

Third in a small series for shedweek, Last years winner Tim sums up the The Mystery Of Shed!.

The Shed, a living, breathing embodiment of all that a sheddie wants, needs and is. ; a place to express oneself and an expression of one’s self ; a place to be totally alone and a place to entertain ones dearest friends ,a place to bring all and everybody to share the magic of shed ; a place to be surrounded by everything and anything that makes you happy and a place to go when you are sad.

Whether a sheddie builds a shed or buys a shed he creates a little bit of himself which grows and develops as the sheddie does himself. Whatever the use the shed is put to it evolves with the sheddie not just to reflect the sheddie’s personality but to acquire its own personality which helps mould its creator into the honest sheddie he is destined to become.

My shed holds many secrets and can tell as many stories about me as I can tell about and around and in and out of the shed. But those are best kept in the shed or at least kept. for another day .
