Roses are Red

Roses are Red

Sheds can be too, also Black, Purple or even Terracotta

Thanks to Cuprinol

Entries are coming in, but I think due to the weather being typically British, we are not getting that many photos yet (well some sheddies have added 27, some 3) we are looking for a minimum of 6 – both inside & out- but we love to see your build photos and better still a video.

This week I launched a call for help, to move to a faster and modern web server for shed of the year, plus I want to move the 36,300 photos of sheds (thought it was 25k but just did an audit) into the cloud at some point so it’s faster for all of you, normally advertising on the site would cover these costs, but most people are blocking ads nowadays, so I’m knocking on your shed door asking for support, a couple of quid will help the transition to a new server.

It’s only me running the website and also managing all the entries and a slower sever is frustrating for me, so it must be worse for you guys.

So many thanks to the sheddies who have given their time and money already.

“My children and I built our shed out of reclaimed old wood and metal, all up cycled and eco friendly, I use recycled water, also solar panels for the lighting.”

The Lamb shed – Cabin/Summerhouse – Rutland

“The shed is built from a 40ft shipping container and has a rear steering axle so that it is able to be moved with a tractor, moving takes a matter of minutes as it connects to the tractor like a regular farm implement.

Modern inside with a log burner double bed and big shower and toilet facility.

Breakfast bar and kitchen with a fire pit outside for romantic evenings. It can be self sufficient with the solar panels on the roof.
