The wait is finally over! The UK Men’s Sheds Association (UKMSA) has officially announced the winners of the 2025 Men’s Sheds Awards, and what an incredible year it has been.

On Thursday, 27 November 2025, Shedders, volunteers, and supporters gathered at the prestigious House of Commons in Westminster to celebrate the extraordinary “extraordinary stories of ordinary people.” The ceremony highlighted the creativity, camaraderie, and life-changing impact that Sheds have on communities across the UK.

From supporting mental health to restoring local heritage, this year’s finalists proved once again that a Shed is far more than just a place to fix things—it’s a place to build connections.

Here are the inspiring winners who took home the trophies this year.

? UK Shed of the Year 2025: Men’s Shed Blaenau Gwent

The night’s top honour went to Men’s Shed Blaenau Gwent (South Wales), crowned the UK Shed of the Year 2025.

This Shed truly embodies the spirit of the movement. They impressed the judges with their diverse range of activities, including a thriving podcasting setup and a ladies’ group. However, it was their intergenerational mini-golf project—built by Shedders alongside local schoolboys to help improve school attendance—that stole the show.
