Just sheds – Brecon 12 ‘Shed’, Skeyton,Norfolk

For the run up to Shed week, Iam going to post about one great shed every other day (when normal life allows) instead of just Tuesday.

Today’s shed is Brecon 12 ‘Shed’, from Skeyton,Norfolk it’s a owner Ayry has made a replica railway carriage thats used as a shed.

brecon 12

My husband made my shed which is a replica railway carriage (Brecon 12), 12′ x 6′ to enable me to daydream about becoming a writer or an artist or just to chill out away from the routine daily chores. I have a day bed in one corner for the odd forty winks when my brain becomes to taxed. He is at moment converting our other carriage (Brecon 8, 8′ x 4′) into a studio/Den for our 9 year old son. Our garden is becoming more like a marshalling yard.

  1. That is a lovely shed. The roof structure is really attractive, and i love the paneling. It looks like a really cosy place to work.
