My artwork is generally oils, the occasional acyclic piece and some mixed media and prints.

My inspirations are generally the great modern painters like Auerbach and Freud. I love Toulouse-lautrec’s frivilent style and some of Stuart Davis’ paintings inspire me greatly.

  1. Hi Mr Morrison, Ignore the derisory comments, I think your impasto style is good. I paint too but I don't think my work is good enough to exhibit. My shed is my studio too, just like yours is. I also use my shed for making canvas boards. It saves me a small fortune and it's not difficult to do. Heres a hint if you've got electric in there try and get yourself a dehumidifier it keeps the damp down and keeps the shed a bit warmer too. this way you can use the shed as a studio all year round rather than just the warmer months.
Have a look at my shed on this site. 'The shed', normal category, sowerby Bridge.

    Regards Lawrence.
