A metal shed and its contents have been stolen from the garden of a house in Gordons, Pitsea.

The thieves removed a lawn mower, hedge trimmer, patio table, chairs and two loungers.

They then unbolted the 8ft by 4ft shed from its base and carried it off. The £600 haul was taken between Tuesday, June 10 and Thursday, June 12.

  1. Anyone with any suggestions on how to counteract these thieves? I’m not sure that my shed would survive being moved in this manner but given that it’s wood I am sometimes concerned that people might want to break into it.
