This, of course, is The Cheese Shed, which has fought off all-comers to retain the coveted title. You all know we are found of cheese here on the shedblog, and in fact we have an offical cheesemonger for Shed week, in the wossname of The Cheese shed.

But you have to see this, to celebrate Cardiff hosting this years Great British Cheese festival, they have got a bloke to make Cardiff Castle out of cheese.

A time lapse film showing a unique sculpture of Cardiff Castle being chiseled out of Welsh cheddar is being used to highlight the staging of the Great British Cheese Festival in the famous Welsh landmark for the first time in September (27-28)

A great day and hopefully Tim’s shed will get lots of press over the next few days.

Just had a knock at the door and it was a parcel of Cheese! so many thanks to Ian and team over at the cheese shed, I will save it for tonight with a nice glass of port!.

Remember you can still win some of their great cheese yourself in the special shed week wossname.

but in the meantime I think a pint is coming my way….
