Weird Welsh Shed – odd shed in the woods – not the hobbit shed but odd.

The wonderful Welsh Hobbit shed owned and built by Simon Dale which has been in all the papers all the past week , [cough] a few years after we covered it on shedblog.co.uk in 2007  shows us that there are some great sheds out there and that the traditional media have just caught up with 🙂

on a diffrent note this great shed was added to our Just Sheds Flickr group by Hefhoover all he will say is

it’s an amazing construction and has even got a pot-belly stove inside, but part of the roof has collapsed on the other side, so it’s not doing it too much good

Not much more is know about it but it’s somewhere in Wales- can any sheddie shed any light on this odd shed

  1. Cool. I'm sure they'll let you know the info about it. My mate helped build it with them, I saw it about 3 years ago, I'm sure its the same one. It didn't look built to last though. I think they felled some trees in their woods and milled them with a chainsaw to get the cladding… pretty cool. They built a very similar structure for a gallery called Eastside Projects in Birmingham. Check it out

    1. Gregg looks very similar – the person taking the photo – never said it's his shed but just one he saw when out and about… will contact the artist to check!
