Shed clearance at the BBC

Adam Pasco from Gardener’s World blog, gives some good insights on clearing your shed for the Spring, a dilemma faced by most of us

shed-clearing

My shed has become a disgrace … again. I did give it a good clearout a couple of years ago, but the clutter accumulates again very quickly. I really must tidy it up, throw away the clutter that really won’t be used, and create a practical storage space that is once again a pleasure to use.

Throwing things away is one of the hardest things in the world. Those useful bits of cane (getting ever shorter as their ends break), lengths of hosepipe, wire, old compost bags, half-empty seed packets… You name it, I probably have it in my shed. Finding it, though, is another matter.
