MIT pranksters have placed what appears to be a TARDIS — a Time And Relative Dimension(s) in Space time machine from the British sci-fi show Doctor Who — atop the MIT building at 77 Mass. Ave.

Freshmen moving in this morning paused to admire the ingenuity of their mystery peers, who, in an MIT tradition, call themselves “hackers.”

A sign on the front of the TARDIS, which is a blue old-fashioned British police call box, said, “Hacker Telephone — Free for use of hackers.”

They say Points of view has some nutters who complain so here’s mine I sent.

I thought I had calmed down from last nights Dr Who. but looks like I have not.

The new Show with the new Dr and the New assistant and the new TARDIS, started on a low point with the destruction of a garden shed by the time lords shed like machine.

thankfully the shed was rebuilt later on in the show and the Dr had a smell of the wood preserver.. so the shed universe was now at one.

I look forward to the future episodes and maybe you with feature TARDIS sheds, just like the ones produced by our sheddies.

of course Iam posting this in jest – but I was a bit shocked, but Iam sure I will get over it

What with the New Doctor WHO Matt Smith being in the “news” with the premiere of the new Series thought I would do a retrospective of the TARDIS shed categories and make a call out for former Doctors (Tom Baker & David Tennant may favs) and of course sheddies to see if you have a TARDIS shed in your garden.

David Tennant has admitted he was “jealous” of Matt Smith, who will be seen taking over his role as Doctor Who next year.

Tennant was speaking at the launch of the Doctor’s latest adventure, The Waters of Mars, which sets the foundations for the beginning of the end of Tennant’s incarnation as the TV Time Lord.

The episode is the second Doctor Who special to be screened this year, and Tennant will also star in two more shows before bowing out in tear-jerking scenes.

Maybe the best doctor David can get a TARDIS shed to help him with the transistion
