Had an email from Janice Thornton asking if anyone knows this poem that has the following line?

“gone to the shed and closed the door”

This line was in a poem used at a funeral and the family would like to use the same poem for another member of the family, but this is all they can remember. Can anyone help with the title of the poem or better still the whole poem.

As Humanist Celebrants we are often asked to read poems at funeral ceremonies that really reflect the persons life and as much as possible we try to do this, so your help would be much appreciated.

can you help?
