I am please to announce that all round top fella and Salvager Rico Daniels has agreed to be a judge in this years Shed of the year 2009, Rico will join the other great judges (Chris Evans, Sarah Beeny, Trevor Baylis, Alex, Loyd Alter, myself and the previous shed winners Tim & Tony) they from all sorts of backgrounds so should make for a great bit of judging competition for Shed Week!
This is the second time Rico has been involved (he was in the first ever Shed Week) and I hope you will welcome him back!.

Rico Daniels is the presenter of two popular “Salvager” series on Discovery Real Time .
Despite a continuing passion for the East End of London this cheerful Cockney has set up home in the Vosges mountains of Eastern France where he finds the salvaged material to produce his quirky furniture and the scenery to provide constant inspiration.
Rico has a natural affinity with anyone that uses their head and hands in a creative way and welcomes the opportunity to have a good nose around everybody’s shed .
