Shed year in view 2007.

Welcome Sheddie, this blog is about sheds! You can share your shed, or view other people's sheds. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed.

Everyone does the best posts of the year thing on their blogs, I am just going to pick my favorites… of course a lot is to do with Shed Week 2007.

Happy birthday shedblog

We love sheds - readersheds

Well it’s about one year since I started to blog seriously(if you can call it that).

Not sure if I have improved my writing (and spelling, thanks firefox inbuilt spullchuck).

But I seem to be doing more posts most of the time, and as I wrote about it the other month, I’m actually getting a handful of people subscribing to my blog and getting some good comments (thanks alex!)

So three cheers for shedblog and look out for the Shed of the Year 2008, and remember to Share your shed.

Thanks to all the sheddies and everyone who knows me and lets hope the next year is as wossname.

Maybe take a look at the archives.

Popular Post on this blog

All the blogexperts, (on their blogs of course), say that you should provide a way for your readers to read the best of your blog in one place

That should improve the way they read your blog and that may also read items that they may not automatically search for, thats great advice if your blog is about “blogging“, “development“, “gaming“, or something else thats very blogable.

But does that really work for a blog like mine thats about random shed related posts.. and not much advice on how to be good at this, that or the other.

Well I will give it a try, this month popular posts in no particular order.

Let there be Solar light (again) Me going on about installing a solar light I bought for Mrs uncle wilco’s summerhouse, as you can see I’m no DIY expert, but it works so wossname that.

Bras invented in sheds Me thinking about Bras being invented in sheds, but that ended up as a surprise as the bra I was talking about was invented in a Cabin, you could not make these things up!

Expensive Beach huts, 2 posts (here and here) related to those seasside sheds., that are in the news at the moment.

2 blokes one shed and an oildrum A great youtube video of a sheddie building an Old drum BBQ.. just what the interweb is about.

If you want to read more of the past then go here. or to view my favorite posts clicky here.

40 (and counting down) people read this shedblog!

Well I mean 40 39 people read this blog via a feed, for this here shedblog, there maybe more people who actually read the blog via the old fashioned way of a web browser.

OK its not a major number in terms of the interweb numbers, but its a wossname for me and this means that there are people actually reading this blog..

You can get the feed here, or sign up via email (3 people do it that way), or even watch my twitter.

If you dont have a clue what I’m on about, no difference then, you can learn about RSS here.

I use Sage, a firefox plugin to view RSS feeds but you can use google reader or other applications.

Fuel my blog

No I dont mean set my shed alight with some petrol, bod forbid..

Just vote for me! on the new social blog site thing.

Shed vote

I know we have had a cr*p Summer, but winter will be upon us in the UK very soon….. sorry but it will be.

I have got my bit of broken skirting board out, broken off the bits of last years paint, and will be stirring my creosote substitute this very week… and Mrs Uncle wilco (Auntie wilco) has bought some woodstain type affair for her winterhouse (was summerhouse)

What do you do to your shed to get it ready for Winter..

Well finally got round to setting up a blog!, orin…

Well finally got round to setting up a blog!, oringally wanted to do it in 2003, but as you can see never got the chance, the sheds got in the way.

anyway, I just got one of those fancy new phones Sony Ericsson K800i which has the great feature of sending the photos it take with its 3.2mp camera straight up to blogger.

So look out, I will be posting regulary, but of course it will be mainly pictures of sheds, that i see round and about on my travels.

This blog is a place where sheds can be in limbo, IE before they are shared on readersheds!!..
