Will the politician’s shed be a factor in your vote this May 6?

We know of all the problems with the politicians from all parties getting sheds and gardening done with our money..and more recently their lack of understanding for digital matters (eg Digital Economy Bill farce)

So is it wise for David Cameron to show off his shed in is latest cameronsays online video.

I wonder what the state of all the other leaders sheds are like and will they be campaigning in front of them?

I know Gordon Brown has a summerhouse, maybe he should go for the sheddie vote? just like the other “leaders”.

Duck House shed on the Thames

The website has done this duck house stunt to promote their campaign against those MPS who acted not in the public interest with their money scandal.

Head Sheddie of Wales Rhodri Morgan: ‘I’m heading for the shed’

Thanks to Alex for the tip off from twitter, I was too busy listening to Metal

The Welsh First Minister is leaving (some time soon) no idea what date really… ;)

But he is off to his garden shed… as you can hear in this Radio4 interview on the Today programme

I wonder if he would have the time to be a shed judge or even share his shed?

Peter hain claimed for Log Shed Roof

Something that would interest the logblogbloke Chris, according to the Telegraph (who else!) the ongoing MPS shed expenses scandal.

Mr Hain, who served in both Tony Blair’s and Gordon Brown’s Cabinet, also charged the cost of a new tin roof for his “log store” to the taxpayer

He said he had to replace the log store roof “as the old plastic one had been destroyed in a gale. I use logs when I can to offset oil heating bills and have never claimed for such logs”.

Will we still be getting these shed misbehaving stories until Shed week?

We paid £750 for a politicians erection

I don’t normally do Politics.

But with the all round ho ha about MPs expenses I was angry to hear (via the telegraph) that Shadow Secretary of State for Innovation, Universities and Skills David Willetts claimed for £750 for a shedbase, there is no great details on his shed, but it must be a fare size and I wonder if he works from it and claims for that?

It was in April, 2004, that Mr Willetts’s claim for a shed base and dog enclosure was refused because the parliamentary Green Book states that MPs can charge only for maintenance of their gardens and nothing more. However, six months later the fees office allowed him to claim £330 plus VAT for the same odd job man to supply and erect a shed.

Maybe he could share it for Shed of the year 2010?
