Alex who always comes up with new ideas on the shedworking/living front, has started a new weekly post called Thursday Outhouses . A great idea or those interested into that smelly genre of sheds!

He points to a website called Sewerhistory.org, which has a great collection of outhouses/privies/bogs/whatever

The site has been an ongoing 15-year project by Jon Schladweiler, Historian of the Arizona Water & Pollution Control Association, and I thought I was obsessive about sheds!

The site also has a great history about worldwide sewer systems including our good old British system.

I do’nt think I will delve any deeper into that genre but of course if you have converted your old outhouse into a shed then please share it.
