Wind powered parkie - the shed not him.
Shed of the year has been announced. Welcome Sheddie, this blog is about sheds! You can share your shed, or view other people's sheds. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed.
Alex has picked up a nice piece of about a park keeper who has been given a wind powered shed, no it does not fly through the air like some sort of shed based zepplin, but I would pay to see that. One of those “Green” energy companies have kitted it out with a turbine, read all about it at 4ecotips, its their image as well.
Traditionally the curse of park keepers, windy weather is now bringing warmth and comfort to a Leicester park keeper who has been kitted out with a wind powered tool shed.
Mick Eaton, head park attendant at Knighton Park, explains: “I’m thrilled with E.ON’s help in bringing the power of nature into my tool shed. I love working outdoors but, if I’m honest, I enjoy a good moan about the British weather as much as the next person.
We would love him to share his shed for Shed of the Year 2008, as we are getting more and more greeny sheds.
