Ar$e Waterbutt

Shed of the year has been announced. Welcome Sheddie, this blog is about sheds! You can share your shed, or view other people's sheds. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to our RSS feed.

Never thought I would be doing Waterbutt of the Week, but here’s a illregular posting about them.

I saw this the other week when I posted about the Roman temple waterbutt, but it’s in the Shape of a Bottom/Ar$e/Butt by the same company.

It’s designed by for Straight plc by Gerardine & Wayne Hemingway. Keen to develop something new and contemporary the Butt Butt was conceived, which has the unique feature of being in the shape of a human bottom. The Butt Butt, however, has the advantage of being both a practical rainwater collection container and a fun eye catching feature in any garden.

It’s odd looking but I suppose could be a unique thing in your garden if you get a few of them…

Update: More info and to see where you can buy them here
B &Q are doing them in store but not online.

They should be available to buy at Even greener I think in the future (as that seems to be the commercial arm of the producer)

  1. UK rainwater barrels are called water butts, so we suppose it was inevitable that somebody was going to design this. Whatever gets you into rainwater harvesting.
