SHEDBLOG.CO.UK QUESTIONS

Losing Sight

Just checking how people find the shedblog, I get some normal shed stuff in my logs like

> how to build a shepherds hut
> how to convert a shed into a sauna
> where is james may garden
> how to build an eco straw house
> how to heat shed
> do i need planning permission for a shed
> how to make your own tardis

Of course you could always try the shed forum if you don’t find the answer here.

but also some real weird things as well.

> claas forager speedster
> how to keep a cockerel quiet
> “damon hill” forum
> growing000000000000000000000000000 up
> lady sara flashing

Odd… but nothing surprises me anymore with the interwebs

Most popular posts on the shedblog 2009 – International Sheds & Lady sheds

Well another one of those list posts – I used the WordPress Plugin Popularity Contest to get the list.

Of course the hits are mainly down to you the sheddies popping in to read up on the “shed news” and wanting to know more about Shed Week and Shed of the year 2009 and not my tip top SEO ninja skills.

I am a little surprised that International shed of the year post came first, but looking into it a lot of US sites linked to it, so that pushed the figures up.

The We love lady sheddies and their lady sheds was a recent hit as it was a reply to Suzi Perry on twitter and she re-tweeted it.

The others are more practical posts about things getting done in your shed I will have to do more of those in 2010.

  1. International Shed of the year 2009
  2. Shed of the year 2009 : The Finalists announced
  3. Shed of the Year 2009 and the winner is …. The Kite Cabin
  4. We love lady sheddies and their lady sheds
  5. Installing a Woodburning Stove in your shed
  6. Designs for shed of the year 2010? – Free shed plans
  7. Shed of the year 2010 Judge : Sarah Beeny
  8. Green roof sheds – 5 common questions.
  9. Top Tips for felting a shed roof
  10. TOP TIPS FOR… removing polystyrene ceiling tiles

I hope 2010 is a great shed year for you.

Lovely Shed in Dartmoor

I was lucky to have a few days away (with Mrs UW) for the May Bank holiday and the first night started at the lovely Moorlands House B & B in Belstone in Devon as we broke up the journey to Cornwall.

and the owners had a great potting shed..!

I told the owner Johnny about readersheds when he served us a great English breakfast in the cosy dinning room, but I think he was a bit confused by it all, but maybe he can share his shed for next years comp

ove the place was in a location over looking the moors and had a great local pub with good beer

A very nice start to a break, I would highly recommend it (no I am not on a retainer) but dogs are allowed so maybe sprout can stay next time.
