Shed of the year 2015 – Right what happens next? – may involve sheds & voting

Many thanks sheddies for all your entries for Shed of the year 2015

We have had 430 new entries this year! – so that makes a total 2520 sheds entered overall with a chance of winning!

Right what happens next?

Voting

The judges will now create a short list of FOUR shed finalists for each category; Normal, Eco, Garden Office, Cabin & Summerhouse, Workshops & Studios, Unique & Pub Sheds.

This year we have added two new categories to the competition; Historical and Budget.

Myself, the judges and Mr George Clarke and his team will consider applications for every category.

We will choose 4 finalists for the existing 7 categories and allocate 4 sheds as finalists for each of the two new categories. All finalists will then be contacted.

Public voting for category winners will open on 18th May 2015 (I will publicise a link so you can vote for them on one page)

You will be then able to vote on which shed you want to win its category over on readersheds.co.uk

Public voting closes Noon 29th May 2015

Winners

All the shortlisted sheds will then go on to the Channel 4 Television show Amazing Spaces Shed of the year with George Clarke where each
category winner and the overall Shed of the year winner will announced.

Thanks sheddies

You lot have made my year again – I never thought this niche shed based competition I created in 2007 would come to this

I would love to give my thanks to our sponsors Cuprinol for all their help and of course Channel 4 and Plum Pictures for bringing my shed
dream to the screen again this year.

All the best
