Weird but great shed : The Hickshaw (a rickshaw shed, for hicks)

A great unique “garden office” from one of our American sheddies.

Interior from occupant's vantage

The all cedar exterior after a brief flurry in February

Its a multi-functional, portable (on wheels), AND built from salvaged materials-shed structure. The goal was to make it as small and simple (to construct) as possible, and as multi- faceted, as I could. “The Hickshaw” was designed to serve as a micro- shed, sauna, mini-greenhouse, tiny office, single sleeper, and/or ice fishing shanty. It is very lightweight, can sleep a single person up to 6′ 6″ in height, has solar lighting within, and can be lifted up from an end, with a single hand. Its exterior has a snap on work-dining table as well. There’s a few more photos on relaxshacks.com, my blog. -Derek “Deek” Diedricksen (Author of “Humble Homes, Simple Shacks, Cozy Cottages, Ramshackle Retreats, Funky Forts (And Whatever The Heck Else We Could Squeeze In Here!)”
