Why have you got a shed? uses etc
To store the garden tools in and to make a landscape object to be seen from the house.
How would you describe your shed?
A mini corrugated iron chapel- made of a wooden frame , lined with matchboarding and covered in green corrugated iron, except for the front which is timber with thin wood mouldings added. The front is roughly based based on part of the Pump Rooms at Tenbury Wells, an ornate building made from galvanised iron sheets.
Who are your shed inspirations?
I love tin chapels, of which there are several in my part of the country, so I based it on one of these, but the front was roughly based based on part of the Pump Rooms at Tenbury Wells, an ornate building made from galvanised iron sheets.
Future Shed plans
None -I’ve got another for my bikes and a garage for my woodworking, so another might be seen as excessive.

What word would you use to sum up Sheds
Utilitarian
I love to look at the small houses on http://www.tinyhousedesign.com/
But are small sheds the next thing? well there are some great ones on our Flickr Group.
Or are most just big/good enough for storage? what are your thoughts on this, either comment or do so in the forum.

Self-build. I had help laying the concrete base, and the roof panels were prefab, but the rest was all built from scratch. More details on the website.

Mainly to pursue my Art. Also to make a mess; my wife likes things tidy indoors.
How would you describe your shed?
Lovely. Warm and cozy. Fulfils its function very well, and has done for more than ten years now. Only just big enough at 12′ x 12′.
Who are your shed inspirations?
Can’t think of any. I just make it up as I go along.
Future Shed plans
If I could get more space, I would extend my shed, and add a veranda.

I honestly can’t remember. It seems like I’ve always known it.

We have had some wonderful sheds added the last few days… is there something in the water? or are people realising that there is only a few months to add their sheds to Shed of the Year 2010?
