Will you be putting the tinsel and tree up in your shed this Christmas time?

I asked last week on that Twitter for some things to write about over the Christmas period so thought I would get some info from you lot first, as you are my muses.

So the first one from Martin Belam, who I don’t think has a shed asked “sheds decorated for xmas?”

So sheddie will you be decorating you shed this year, like this great example

If you will please let me have some photos, so I can do a TOP TEN DECORATED SHEDS in the run up to Dec 25th.

Of course if you don’t celebrate Christmas but have some sort of Winter festival, then why not show your shed with your chosen decorations.

Did you watch Antiques Roadshow from Bletchley park?

The BBC Antiques Roadshow had it’s second outing yesterday to Bletchley park yesterday

As you well know the Bletchley park is the charity for Shed Week 2010 and one of our shed judges Simon Greenish was on the show talking about the enigma machine – very interesting.

I will catch up with the full show tonight on the IPlayer as the Mrs was watching that xfactory rubbish.

So support Bletchley park now and up to and during Shed Week 2010 – Share your shed and tell the world!

Great Shed cartoon – about sheds and the Dubai financial crisis

I missed this on the weekend, too busy being a sub standard labourer for mrsUW brother as we tried to get a window and cavity wall done for our garage conversion (as our builder let us down…ahem conman), to be honest I am not built for lugging bricks and mixing cement – but I did learn to build a stud wall and about eco insulation that’s handy! as some left over for the shed maybe!

anyway Alex found it…

Stress relief for the woodworking sheddie

Saw this over at Stu’s Shed

deskplane

Stressed at work, missing your workshop, yearning for the smell of freshly planed timber?

The new Stress Relieving Desk Plane is the answer, with a small footprint it will be right at home alongside your computer. Then every time you feel stressed simply grab the plane and stroke vigorously until you’re relaxed.

Now that’s therapeutic….

A great present for the woodworker who has everything.

Great idea and you can buy one here
