What a sheddie did next – Clive and his Shed Nights

It’s not all limos, film premiers & hi-class boozers for shed of the year finalists, some really enjoy themselves.. as Clive has pointed out.

My old mate GG announced the other day he needed some welding doing on one of his bike parts. Rather than simply spending a wasted evening in the pub therefore (drinking too much Timothy Taylor Landlord and eating junk food, as we tend to do once in a while) we decided to combine the two activities – lo and behold, Shed Night was born!

The agenda involved lots of beer (in its own special ice-filled cooler!), a take away curry, much angle grinding, some judicious welding and a whole load of gossiping / joking around! Not a series of activities that one would normally associate (or may even prove a good idea on health and safety grounds!) but I have to say that last night’s inaugural session was an excellent one!

Clive is first sheddie to get a badge as well (it’s in the post Monday, honest) for promoting his shed via his blog.
