Our friends over at Bombardier have announced that Frank Basey as their champion on this St Georges Day
Frank Basey
Joined by his faithful dog Tess, 68 year old Frank walked from Lands End to John O’Groats raising money for the Royal British Legion. The two and a half month long epic journey allowed Frank to raise over £5,000 for the cause that supports those serving or veterans of the Armed Forces. His determination represents the millions of people that give up their time to raise money, no matter how little, for the hundreds of good causes in England.
Keep an eye on their wossname for more… they are posting live images from the awards here. of course us at readersheds was shortlosted but we never made the cut, of course we are not bitter, like bombardier (sorry)
