What is Shed of the year 2009
I wanted a way to showcase the best sheds in the country that my sheddies have shared, so Shed of the year was born, we are in our third year.
This was last years winner Tim and his pub shed.
We have a few new things this year.
Eco Shed category – looking at green buildings, be they recycled from old sheds at allotments, or new green eco garden offices where people work from home in… and try their bit to save the planet
International Shed of the Year, as we are getting lots of USA & Canada ,Australia , New Zealand and European, alongside the traditional UK sheds, so all sheds marked as international when they are added to the site, this separate award will be decided by the public vote.
I will also be doing SHED.TV shedcasts on this blog to keep you up to date with what new sheds we have on the site and some of my favorites (of course I love them all)
Once the public vote has finished (the ones with the most public votes in each category). then the judges take over and mark the sheds out of ten…. and we hopefully will have winner.

If you have a great shed then please add it now
You need to add at least two images for it to be entered into the compeition.
If you have added your shed before, then it will be automaigally entered into the competition, but if you can update the info and maybe add a few new images, then that would be great.
