Digital channel Sci Fi is to launch its first short film – aimed at promoting the brand in the UK beyond its traditional “spaceships and aliens” image.

The two-minute clip, called Pret a Teleporter, tells the story of a perennially late businessman who invents a teleportation machine to get to work on time.
