£200,000 to live in Shepherds hut

Featured Shed News

First it was beach hut prices now it’s Shepherds huts or as the shed friendly metro calls them haresters vehicle.

Would you buy a used van for £200,000? Probably not – but this one has been converted into a holiday home and includes a grassy field.

Oh, and it apparently has stunning views and overlooks a beach.

The traditional harvester’s vehicle and half a hectare of land will be auctioned later this month if no buyer comes forward.

‘It’s a beautiful spot and it’s quite a wrench to leave it – it really is so lovely,’ said Margaret Surplice, from Southampton, who bought the plot with husband Norman when they were keen surfers in 1973. The land they are selling overlooks Croyde beach, Devon.
