Shepherd hut Friday!

As Alex is on his hols, then I will do a bit about shepherd’s huts.
An entrepreneur carpenter has told how he plans to turn the classic “shepherd’s hut” into a 21st century office.

John Tucker, 33, from Glastonbury, Somerset, has already reclaimed the axles and wheels from a 19th-century hay elevator to convert it into a mobile office.

With broadband internet, double-glazed windows and fully insulated walls and roof, his designs are far removed from the herdsmen’s romantic hideaways featured in Thomas Hardy’s Far from the Madding Crowd. The huts are expected to attract bids in the region of £9,000.

We would love him to share it !
